Learn how to create and set up your SmartCV account, including registration, login, personal information configuration, and account security settings.

Before you start using SmartCV, you need to create an account. This guide will walk you through the entire account setup process.

Creating a New Account

Registration Methods

SmartCV offers multiple convenient registration methods:

Email Registration

  1. Visit SmartCV registration page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Set a secure password (at least 8 characters, including letters and numbers)
  4. Confirm password
  5. Click the "Create Account" button

Third-Party Login

You can also use the following methods to register quickly:

  • Google Account: Click "Login with Google"

  • LinkedIn Account: Click "Login with LinkedIn"

  • GitHub Account: Click "Login with GitHub"

    Using third-party login allows you to:

  • Avoid the hassle of remembering passwords

  • Quickly import basic information

  • Enjoy a more secure login experience

Email Verification

After successful registration, you will receive a verification email:

  1. Check your email (including spam folder)
  2. Click the verification link in the email
  3. Complete email verification

Logging into Your Account

Login Steps

Access Login Page

  1. Go to SmartCV login page
  2. Or click the "Login" button in the top right corner of the website

Enter Login Information

Choose based on your registration method: Email Login:

  • Enter registered email
  • Enter password
  • Click "Login"

Third-Party Login:

  • Click the corresponding third-party login button
  • Complete authorization according to prompts

Remember Login Status

  • Check "Remember me" to stay logged in

Forgot Password?

If you forgot your password:

Completing Personal Information

After first login, it is recommended to complete your personal information:

  2. Select "Personal Settings"

  • Email: Verified email address

After completing information:

  • Click "Save Changes"
